Looking into making some software for our internal use, that keeps all of our information in one central location, everything from job data to blueprints and 3d models etc, sorted by part numbers or jobs.

my main hurdle is fusion I think. is there a way to access the saved data in f360 outside of the fusion 360 software? thinking that since there is a website to view all my files I can likely leverage the data in the same way.

You'll want to take a look at Forge. A beta for the Fusion Data API is now available, simplifying access to this data compared to the original Forge API's. It also provides additional functionality.

They have been using StackOverflow for support. I assume they're still using it for the Fusion Data API. Here's a Forge support page.

Not that I'm aware of. For whatever reason, they chose to use StackOverflow instead of creating a new Autodesk forum.
