Error "There is already an active debugging session"

Hi,

Sometimes while debugging a Python script I get an error in Fusion 360 that says: "There is already an active debugging session":

When that happens, the only way I can fix it is by restarting the whole Fusion 360 application.

Is there a way to fix it without restarting the whole app?

Thanks,

Julien

I see this occasionally too, and my solution is the same as yours. It used to be much worse, and the Fusion developers have done a lot of work to make the integration with VS Code as seamless as possible. Usually, if they're able to reproduce a problem, they can fix it. The problem with this current problem is that I haven't found a consistent workflow that reproduces the problem. If you or anyone else can reproduce this problem on-demand, please report it here along with the required steps.

@BrianEkins Ok that's good to know. I've run into this a number of times, so I'll see if I notice any patterns and then try to create a reproducible example.
