creating a triangle ring (jewellery)

hi all,

i'm trying to create a particular ring (show in the pic below) where the ring is made up of triangles. But, the upside down triangle actually comes out a bit. Currently, i have made a weird looking ring (attached in the fd3 file) where I made two triangles then used circular pattern. It is not what I want.

Can anyone help please?

This is not an API question, is it?

I'm not good at modeling because I don't usually do it, but I made it.
I have a feeling it's not what I want.
