Bug? Shape constraints in viewport

Creating sketches using API will show constraints in viewport. Even setting sketch.areConstraintsShown to False do not hide them. Is it a bug or it is by design? Manually editing the created sketch then clicking on "Finish Sketch" button will hide the constraints.

Is it a bug or it is by design? If it is a bug, does Autodesk intend to fix it in the near future?
