Add-ins missing.

The add-ins selector is missing from my tool bar in the latest release of Fusion 360.  How can I restore it?

Thanks!

It's been moved to the Tools tab, as shown below.

Hi,

The add-ins panel is on the tools tab now.

The what's new for the last update has all the details about the new toolbar changes.

Are add-ins available in the free Fusion 360 personal use platform?

Thanks

@h_poffenYes, add-ins are available. I don't think the Design environment is limited in any way.

@h_poffen yes as @thomasa88 mentions add-ins are available in the free version. Are you having trouble finding them?

I was able to locate them.

Is there a place to get a more skilled person than myself to create an add-in for me?   It is something simple but I have no clue on how to do it or where to start.

Thanks

This forum page is a good place to start. You might try putting up a post asking for just that, help writing a simple add-in. Describe what you want and hopefully the community can help out, or point in the right direction. Good luck!

No, I have no Add-Ins in my Tools Menu. Under Create, there are a few processes I can select and add to the menu, but I'm looking for gears, and there aren't any.

What do you mean exactly? Which add-in are you trying to use?

Thank you for your reply. This morning I learned that the word TOOLS is a drop down menu and the add-ins are there. Onward and upward.

Moved again -- now it's in the UTILITIES tab

The shortcut Shift-S opens the scripts and add-ins command window.

It is very handy and you don't have to care where it is placed as the software is updated.

Shift-S is great news!!

Shift-S sounds like something an experienced user might effectively use. But when you are a first-time user searching for a menu item that's mentioned in documentation with no way to find that menu item, and you have to search through every menu to find it, misled by previous posts referencing previous locations...  not effective.
