add-in as single operation in timeline

My apologies if there is an obvious answer to this somewhere.  If there is  I couldn't find it.  When creating an add-in, especially one that involves a lot of steps, is it possible to have if appear as a single operation in the timeline?  I am working on something that I want my students to use, but so far it shows up as many distinct operations, instead of one that can be deleted or edited.  In this current state, I don't think it will be simple enough for them to use.

You can use TimeLineGroups and TimeLineGroup to group the steps and show them as a collapsible entity in timeline.

Also you can use BaseFeatures and BaseFeature to create a single-step direct edit feature within your parametric design.
