Accessing files and changing their parameters

Is it possible to access all project files, add/update their parameters and save the file?

Ive been trying to iterate through the files but its awfully slow, would it be faster to use C++ instead of python or will the slowness remain?

Actually found a typo and got it working, though it is still really slow. At least I have a way to share project parameters now.

The speed is a known problem but will require significant internal changes to fix, so don't look for any relief soon.
