When running a script such as

https://forums.autodesk.com/t5/fusion-360-api-and-scripts/selectentity-causes-fusion-to-crash/m-p/96...

I noticed that Fusion360.exe is running at full core (25% in my case) while UserInterface.selectEntity is awaiting input.

Maybe this has something to do with why Fusion crashes when selectEntity is used in a command: See thread of aforementioned post and https://forums.autodesk.com/t5/fusion-360-api-and-scripts/selectentity-internal-validation-error/td-...

Fusion 360 2.0.12888

I don't think what you're seeing is limited to UserInterface.selectEntity. When I run a command like Extrude and move the mouse around on the screen, the CPU usage is also high. I don't know what's going on but am just saying I don't believe this is an issue with the API but is a behavior of Fusion core so the people watching this forum probably aren't the best audience for this.
