Strange appearances behavior

Hello,

I have encountered strange behavior while working with appearances.

https://knowledge.autodesk.com/community/screencast/003815de-ca09-4f82-a133-2550ac596845 - link to the screencast.

As you can see in the screen cast, I apply HDF appearance to 2 components, however it is grey for some reason. Next I apply F01 appearance and it works fine.  Then I reapply the HDF appearance and it is still grey. When I delete an unrelated Paint appearance from the design, suddenly the components with HDF appearance are not grey anymore and show the correct colors.

Just to get the more detail, Are you seeing this problem specifically to any material or in general? Is there any pattern you noticed when this problem happens? Actually I tried it on my side but not able to reproduced it so just want to understand it better. Thank you for your feedback.

Actually it is just a few materials (attached the used adsklib). Is it possible something is wrong with them? Couldn't find what it could be though. Unfortunately I was unable to find the pattern as to how this happens, only happens on this model, on other models the materials work just fine.
