Spyder: Open multiple files

In many projects I use Spyder opening many scripts to compare or copy parts of code.

To do this I spend a lot of time looking at the files in the filesystem.

Is there a way (with Spyder) to open different scripts at Spyder startup, passing them in a list ?

Thanks Dino

I don't believe this is possible.  It would seem that it would be a command line option when starting Spyder to be able to specify files to open.  I found this Spyder documentation for command line arguments and specifying a file isn't there.  Even if it was available in Spyder you don't have the ability to set the command line arguments because it's Fusion that's starting it up.  So at a couple of levels it doesn't seem possible.

Hi Brian, thanks for the quick reply. It's a shame that it is not possible to make explicit the command line of Spyder from inside Fusion. Maybe it could be add to Fusion preferences in a next future. Do you think that this functionality can be proposed to the Ideastation forum ?

Hi Dino,

I was saying that it looks like Spyder doesn't support this so there isn't anything we can do in Fusion 360 to enable it.
