Hi, as the title suggests, I have an addin called NoComponentDrag which was originally created by someone else. I loved the add-in, however I noticed a couple bugs and went away fixing them, eventually the original add-in creator and I came to an agreement where I would take over control of the addin and maintain it.
Ive completely redone most of his code and have only been able to test it on my own machine so I am not confident in its ability to replace the old addin. Most people will still have the old addin they downloaded before that version was removed from the store so Untill people start noticing its in a different location I do not have any way of getting feed-back on it.
I would greatly appreciate if some of you could take the time and give it a go to see if it holds up, who knows, you may even find that you like it. The addin can be found here: NoComponentDrag. If you are curious as to what it does, here's a brief explanation:
NoComponentDrag is designed to give you the ability to toggle the function of dragging components while you are working. I frequently found myself accidentally moving components and ruining their alignment without realising throughout the design process. This just provides a little checkbox under the selection panel which will stop that from happening while you work.
I look forward to any feedback you lot may have. (Really try to break it the best you can, things working is boring, my job is problem solving!)
