Sample Code for Working with Simulations

Is there anyway to access or create simulations through the Fusion 360 API. 

I'm working on a plugin that could bridge a connection between a body it generates and the model the modeler created. To create the "best" bridge having an ability to run the simulations and interpret their results out of the view of the modeler would be useful. 

I'm specifically interested in the Static Stress and Shape Optimization simulations.

There currently is not any API for the simulation portion of Fusion. There are plans to have an API at some point but there is not a timeframe for the work at this point.
