Programatically adding toolpaths to selected geometries

Good afternoon everyone!

I'm getting into the API for Fusion360, and I'm interested in creating an add-in/command that will add a CAM operation (like a Trace), and generate that toolpath for certain geometries in the model.

I looked in the API documentation and searched here, but it looks like the only API access is for generating toolpaths for setups that already contain all of the desired CAM operations. Is there any way to do something like what I've described?

It's not possible. There's currently very little of the CAM functionality that's exposed through the API.
