new FMGears add-in version to workaround Fusion API DXF import bug

A Fusion release around 4 weeks ago broke my FMGears add-in. A bug introduced in the Fusion API causes normal sketch elements to be imported as construction elements, which breaks extrusion. I've created a new version 1.4 of FMGears to temporarily work around this problem: https://www.forestmoon.com/Software/FMGears/Versions.asp

This workaround may increase gear creation time and generate many flashing messages generated by Fusion during the process of restoring the 'normal' state of the sketch before extrusion.

I have no advice to offer as to the tracking of a fix to this problem, but I did create a thread specific to the bug (https://forums.autodesk.com/t5/fusion-support/fusion-api-dxf-import-problem/m-p/13194443) and I will update this thread when I get word of a resolution.

With new feedback from the support thread mentioned in my previous post, I was able to create a permanent workaround for this DXF import bug. This new version may be downloaded from my FMGears page:

https://www.forestmoon.com/Software/FMGears/

The FMGears page in the app store has been taken offline by Autodesk. It may take some time, especially due to the holiday break, to have them restore the page and update it with the new version.

Special thanks to HughesTooling for the insights for resolving the issue!

"Bad index parameter" was the error message from the previous version of FMGears when attempting to create a gear after the broken version of Fusion was released. FMGears worked in Fusion version 2.0.19440 x86_64 but failed after upgrading to 2.0.20948 x86_64, so was broken somewhere in between. This new FMGears version 1.4 intends to work around that break and is a long-term, simple and safe fix for just that Fusion bug.
