Macro options and viewing commands

On base of a new sketch we need to replicate the actions and command needed for creating the final component. If a sketch could be changed for a new one and operations could be kept this would be a great solution. If not, I would like to know if their is some simple way to record repeating task and save these in a sort of a macro.

If macro's are not an option I would like to know if there is a way to view actual commands live while designing, so that programming scripts and add-ins will become easier to compose.

Please advise

Kind regards

Bert,

I don't know of any way to record macros in Fusion360.  The only thing I can think of goes to your last point: if you use AutoDesk's ScreenCast tool (described here) with a support app (like Fusion360) it will record not just the video, but a timeline of any commands, dialog boxes, and key presses, and highlight them in the video.  At least then you can extract the step-by-step list that you would need to script up.  Maybe that would get you started?

Good luck,
