Fusion 360 will not open after working in offline mode

I worked in offline mode for about 4 hours today and when I reconnected to the internet Fusion 360 crashed. I tried to reopen the program but got an error "Autodesk Fusion 360 cannot be opened because of a problem". I restarted my computer (an earl 2011 Macbook Pro 2.2 GHz Intel Core i7 with 8gb of memory running OSX 10.10.4) and tried openeing Fusion 360 again, only to get the same error message. I have important work I don't want lost that has not been synced to the cloud yet.

I have attached the "problem details and system configuration" that was output with the error message in case that helps.

I fear if I reinstall the program I will lose all the work I did (which was successfully saved moments before I attempted reconnecting to the internet).

I have struggled with using Offline Mode since getting Fusion 360 and feel it is incredibly important to have more accessible files, especially if this issue is something I may be faced with again in the future.

Has anyone had this issue and found a good solution? Is there a way to obtain a copy of my files editted while in Offline Mode so as not to lose them through a reinstall?

Thanks in advance for any advice

If you are running any anti-virus software on your Mac, please test the behavior with the A/V software disabled. It may also help to test another network. Is the crash occuring on the same network that you've used Fusion 360 on in the past?

Can you manually collect the log files on your system and attach them here?

Note the files may be located in hidden file and folders. To show these files:

Mac OS:

  1. Open Terminal found in Finder > Applications > Utilities.
  2. In Terminal, paste the following: defaults write com.apple.finder AppleShowAllFiles YES.
  3. Press return.
  4. Hold the 'Option/alt' key, then right click on the Finder icon in the dock and click Relaunch.

To collect Installation Log File (for install or update errors):

Mac OS:
Macintosh HD/Users/<LOGIN>/LIbrary/Logs/autodesk.webdeploy.streamer.log

Application Log Files (for issues launching or operating Fusion 360):

Mac OS

Macintosh HD/Users/<LOGIN>/LIbrary/Application Support/Autodesk/Autodesk Fusion 360/<Custom ID>/
Macintosh HD/Users/<LOGIN>/LIbrary/Application Support/Autodesk/Autodesk Fusion 360/<Custom ID>/logs

... (look for all *.log files in these directories)

The application log files should contain some information about what was saved, when and where. They may help us to determine what is happening and recommend a course of action that will not end in data loss.

If there are any questions, please let us know.
