Fusion 360 "Python" Script - Export BOM using "First Level" or "All Level"

Can anybody help???

Does anybody have a Python script to export a BOM file, with a combination of using either "First Level" or "All Level" output?

I want to export a BOM file, using a Python script, using "All Levels", the exception being if the Part is imported into an assembly from a folder called "Purchased Parts" then I need to append the BOM using "First Level" only then revert back to "All Levels" if a Part is inserted into an assembly from any other folder.

The reason is.....

When I import a "Step" file, downloaded, from a suppliers website , for example a gearbox, the "Step" file gets converted into a Fusion 360 file with all the internal parts as separate items (bearings, gears, seals, castings etc) what I do not want to output in the BOM file. I only want to output a single part number rather than all the parts that make up a imported "Step" file.

Many thanks in advance!!!

Darren
