Fusion 360 Offline Documentation

Hi, I´m wondering if fusion has a offline copy of the documentation like other Autodesk Products, I need it because I´m not always online, and i'm creating some scripts and I need the API documentation all the time.

Hey Bryan,
Is there an updated version of the api docs that are downloadable? I wonder if there is some way to pipe it through grep and vim, that would be very ideal.

Edit:
This might be the updated version:

@Anonymous did you get it to download? It hangs up right at the end and Windows tells me its an invalid file. I have a copy of a more recent CHM. So just wanting to make sure you got what you need.

Hey ScottMoyse,
Thanks for the reply! I did get it to download, did you make sure to unblock the chm? I'm on windows as well.

In regards to the version you have (the more recent version) when you scroll down to the bottom of the first page, what year does it say on it? The one on the website and brian's blog is from 2017 so it's still a bit outdated.

I'm not at my work computer... I wonder if the help documentation is within fusion's install directory on windows. (So we could have the most up to date version). I'll report back if that yields any results.

It never actually finished downloading for me. I was only downloading it to check that date. I'll report back

I've uploaded the latest CHM version (May 2020) of the help to my website: https://ekinssolutions.com/getting-offline-access-to-the-fusion-360-api-help/

Awesome thanks Brian... if you could get hold of the new CAM API from @GeorgeRoberts and get it into a CHM as well... we would be very happy 🙂
