FUSION 360 DUPLICATE HEADER

I receive the following message

The response from the server contained duplicate headers. This problem is generally the result of a misconfigured website or proxy. Only the website or proxy administrator can fix this issue.

Hello,

It would be great if you can provide more information. For example: What kind of workflow were you running when you got the error message? Was it related to some addin or script? If yes, which was the problematic addin or script?

Thanks,

Marshal

Hello,

Did you mean you got the error message when you download/install Fusion 360? If yes, it would be great if you can post the log file "autodesk.webdeploy.streamer.log" under the folder "C:\Users\<User>\AppData\Local\Autodesk\"(Windows) or "/Users/<User>/Library/Logs"(MAC).

Thanks,

Marshal

No. It gives the message when I start to download. No download has been done.

Hello,

It was a strange message. It looked you cannot even download "Fusion 360 Client Downloader" from our website.

Please send me (marshal.tu@autodesk.com) an email. I would send you the file by email. Please tell me which OS you are going to install Fusion?

Thanks,

Marshal

Hello SiP107,

As the error message states, this is a problem with the website or a proxy.  Specifically, information from the server telling your browser what the file name should be when it is saved is being duplicated.   Since this only happens to a few users and only intermittently, its likely not a problem with source website (we have seen this issue before and have not been able to find a problem there).   Unless you know what proxy may be in use on your network and what administrator may be able to deal with the issue, it's unlikely we will be able to solve the duplicate headers issue.

However, in our experience, Chrome is the only browser that refuses to download the software in this situation.  If you try the download with your OS-provided browser (Internet Explorer on Windows), then it is more likely to succeed.

Sorry we cannot be of greater assistance.

Thanks,

Steven
