C++ Debug issue

While I can set break points in C++ MVC 2019 environment, very difficult to debug since fusion variables is not visible. Is there a solution to this?

Unfortunately, the files to debug further are not provided and I don't see that changing because of IP issues with delivering it.

But if you develop under VSCode and Python, you can see deep into the data underneath a reference. 

So, why can't c++ API have the same debug support the same as python?
