BrailleCreator add-in problem

Fusion 360 is no longer displaying the add-in BrailleCreator in any menu I can find.  I suspect this is due to a recent update to Fusion 360 since it had been working well before.  The installer reports that the software was installed successfully and it appears in the add-ins list under “Tools.”  Changing the location of the files does not help.  Any ideas?

Hi,

The problem is that Braille Creator was last updated years before the latest UI change, which is actually not very recent at this point.

Here is the June 11, 2019 video explaining the (at the time) new UI.

The problem is that Braille Creator needs to be updated to work with the new menus. However, don't fret, you can still use Braille Creator!

Steps:

1. In Fusion modeling environment (where you would like to use it)

2. Press the "S" key on your keyboard.

3. A menu box appears.

4. Type Braille

5. The Braille Creator add-in appears on the command list.

6. Hover over the name, and press the little arrow key to add it to your S - toolbox.

7. To use again, press S, then select the icon for Braille Creator.

Thanks,
