Any way to implement a feature where Fusion will automatically add height and length data into descriptions and change it whenever a change has been made without just adding additional dimensions for each change?
Example:
Description - Height x length mm | [manual input for additional data] - 1000 x 900 mm | Laminate, varnished Oak.
If I change the dimensions:
Description just change the numbers - 1000 x 1200 mm | Laminate, Varnished Oak.
is it also possible to change some numbers in parts number when the length is over or under a specific number. I am trying to use parts name as an article number. Example "KD900MDF" the model length is between 900 and 1000.
I have no knowledge in Python or programming and I'm a student who is trying to make so that parts list will contain more data for a salesperson without having to input things manually.
Basically I'm trying to apply drawings as a sort of sheet for sales with dimensions and article number.
Not necessary asking for someone to make it, more if its even possible without having to input everything externally into an excel sheet or something like that. is Scripts or add-in's capable of doing that?
Been trying to use AI to get me a script or something but Im having issues XD
