Can anybody help?

I have a selection of simple extruded profiles. These profiles will be used to create laser cut parts.

Is it possible, using a API script, to automatically create a "DWG" file of the front face profile and save it (for example only) into "C:\test files\"?

The sketch is made up from lines, arcs and circles and then extruded. I need the face exporting to ad dwg file so I can get it laser cut.

I know you can do this operation by right mouse clicking the face in question but I want to do this operation, automatically, every time the user presses the "SAVE" button.

Many thanks in advance!!!!

Darren

Do you mean a DXF?

In either case it would require a custom add-in. It looks like there is a document saved event that could be hooked into. See the sample code
