API support for Sheet Metal

As soon as I understand programming interface is not exposed for working with Sheet Metal now. Is it planned and how soon it could be exposed?

Unfortunately there is no immediate plan for adding Sheet Metal API but We are definitely working on increasing our API coverage in coming future and adding more capability through API.

It seems there is quite a lot of questions on this forum regarding the Sheet Metal functinalities in the API.
Also for me this would come in handy for developing an add-on.

Can you please see if this can be added and when ?

I can't use Fusion 360 for complex sheet metal assemblies that use several dozen independently bent sheet metal parts welded together since there's no way to make flat patterns for all the same-thickness parts at once let along then nest them onto waterjet cutting sheets. I do that all using my own Grasshopper program in Rhino, currently.
