I would like to visualize the intersection of two complex objects, with one object being visible and the other invisible.
A 2-dimentional analogy to this problem would be the intersection of a 2-circle Venn Diagram in which one circle is blue, the other is red, and the intersection is purple. As the two circles intersect, the purple region gets larger as the red and blue regions get smaller. In my case, I am only interested in seeing the blue circle and the purple intersection, not the red circle. (A visual aid is below).
Alternatively, it would be equally effective to animate a single object transitioning in color originating from one plane, traversing through the object, and to the opposite plane. I am currently working with a tetrahedron (pyramid) transitioning in color starting from one face to another -- this option seems more difficult.
Thank you in advance!
