web editor - Cannot change parameters

Hi,

Using the new web.fusion.autodesk.com - Mostly great!!!

Unfortunately the "Change Parameters" button does not work.  I click it but nothing happens.  All other buttons in the "Modify" menu work fine.

Hope you can help.

Thanks

Jon

Hi,

In additional testing the "Change Parameters" does work if the sketch is new.

It does not work on sketches imported from the desktop version of Fusion 360 that already contain Parameters.

Please help, thanks.

Hi @drawing-admin,

I tried a very simple case of this today, and it seemed to work OK.  Would you be willing to share the model with us so we can investigate?

Jeff

I have managed to reproduce the issue, and have filed a ticket.

Thanks for your patience, hopefully we can resolve this very soon.

Looks like that got fixed - thanks!

But having made changes, the disk icon (to save the file) is greyed out, so the changes made can't be saved ?

I abandoned the changed drawing, logged back in, opened the drawing - the changes were still there, but the version number is the same as before?

Ah that looks like a separate issue.  If you do something else to dirty the scene (like unhide and hide the origin) this should activate the save.

Hi

We have an autosave mechanism (which we are looking to upgrade)

You can get rid of any changes made after the last save, by going to the file menu>discard changes.

Thanks

Having the same problems here right now.

No editing (or even a view) of the parameters.

Following https://forums.autodesk.com/t5/fusion-360-design-validate/parameter-update-not-working/td-p/6301132 which suggested it had to do with changing accuracy of displayed values and to reset all the preferences to default, it started to work again after a restart.

Looks like this problem has not been solved. Thinking back I remembered trouble started after I did change some of the display settings.

Hi

Can you confirm if the issue is in the web browser, or Fusion 360 desktop?

If the browser, is there any way you might be able to share your design with us?

Many thanks
