hey everyone, I definitely a new user. I have read the forums on converting a x_t file in fusion 360. I read that you need the paid version to open the file. I just purchased the yearly subscription and still cannot open the x_t file ? I am looking to open a modify to continue tweaking my designs. help

I think even with a commercial license, the X_T translator is a cloud service.  You have to upload it to a project, and it will be translated remotely.  You cannot just open it directly on your computer.

yes, you should wait for the file to convert.  It should not take very long.  It will show up in your hub, you should get a notification when it is finished.

What happens when you double click on the file in the data panel (or click and drag into an existing design)?

How did you upload it? If you upload using Fusion's data panel it should translate as it uploads, if you used a browser to upload to your hub it will not translate. If you right click the file in Fusion's data panel is there an option to create a Fusion Design?
