Needing to Re-Select Dimension Tool Each Time I Use It

Sorry if this is a silly question, but recently the dimension tool quit staying active in sketch mode. What I mean is that I'll select the tool, dimension a line, then the tool unselects and I have to reselect the tool to dimension the next line. Is this a setting I changed accidentally? I think it started happening during the update this week. This driving me nuts and affecting my productivity.

Hi,

Actually, the input menu should open.
Restart a new design, the application or the PC and test.
If that does not help, go to the Service Utilities.

Thanks for the response,

I don't know why it doesn't look like it's opening in the video, it'll open up for me just fine. I've restarted the program and the computer. I just tried uninstalling and re-installing fusion as well and that didn't fix it.

That's the same thing I see, except I have to reselect the dimension tool each time because it doesn't stay active. I tried another screen recording, but for some reason it doesn't show the input box. But it does show up in this screenshot like it's supposed to.

I'm wondering if I somehow accidently changed a setting that keeps the dimension tool from staying active. I just don't know how to fix it.

I've seen a few people report this problem but can't remember any of them finding a fix! @Phil.E  Have you got any ideas?

@bigradben Have you tried updating you graphics drivers?

No ideas. There isn't a setting for that and you can't accidentally do it by double clicking or any other keystroke.

This is going to sound cliche, so apologies ahead of time, but have you tried restarting your computer lately?

That's good to know I didn't accidentally bump a setting, thanks!

Haha no worries, but yes I have restarted it multiple times. I tried re-installing fusion as well with no luck.

It seems the problem fixed itself. I don't know what did it. I was in the middle of a design and the dimension tool started staying active. Thanks for the help.

Edit: Nevermind, it works sometimes and sometimes it doesn't. It makes no sense to me.
