Mac Users: Dock icon missing/broken or after Sept 23rd update? READ THIS!

Hi all,

A few of you, including myself, noticed that on Mac - the dock icon went missing, or stopped working after this update. This had to do with how we changed the findability of Fusion for this update moving forward... Luckily, it's pretty quick to get it back. Follow the steps below:

  1. Open Finder
  2. Navigate to Macintosh HD/Users/<username>/Applications (note this is NOT the systems applications folder, it is within your User profile)
  3. Right-click 'Autodesk Fusion 360' and select Make Alias
  4. Drag the Alias to your Dock

If you cannot find Autodesk Fusion 360 in your applications folder, you can follow the instructions here to find the Fusion.app file rooted in the installation folders.

Do not hesitate to reach out if you need any assistance!

Thanks,

The Fusion 360 is not missing from the Dock.  However, it takes up to 10 min. for the app to load.

I have a 3 GHz Quad-Core Intel Core i5 processor, 8 GB memory and Radeon Pro 555 2 GB Graphics.  Using mnacOS Calalina V10.5.2.

Any suggestions?
