login defaults to team.forge@ssttest.net

Hi,

I am trying to log in to Fusion 360 online with my education account. After the first login the browser loads up the pluggin with the % complete, hits 100% and the login email changes to team.forge.ssttest.net. I have no idea who this email belongs to (so cannot login). This only happens with my education account.

Logging in on the full version with my education account is not affected.

Who is this team.forge???

Any ideas

Many thanks in advance

Pete

Hi,

I have the same problem. Also with the same team.forge account.

I think that it has to be a general problem right now.

Curious that is seems to be just education accounts as I mentioned all was fine on my personal account.

I am only using my education account with the Browser Access https://fusion.online.autodesk.com/. I thought that this webservice is available for education accounts only. The fusion360 team probably has to look into this problem.

All of my students are also experiencing this problem today. No one is able to log in. We must find team.forge and shut them down.

I am facing this issue as well and 50% of my students have the same issue. I wonder if someone over at the home office accidentally made a change to the login and they haven't realized it yet.

It looks like clearing the students' browser history and cookies seems to reset the program so that they can login.  At least I had luck with a couple of students at the end of 1st period.

Hi all,

Thank you for raising this. I just escalated this issue to the teams, and they are now working on resolving this. We are hoping to have this issue resolved within the hour. I will let you all know as soon as I have an update.

My kids can login now. However, everyone in the class is having trouble
with the "share public link" function. It is showing up but will not let
anyone actually copy the link. They have tried multiple ways (the button,
control c, and highlighting.)

Yep - all works now for me.

Any reason why the error? - just curious

@emulpuri - can you post screenshots of what they see by chance? I'll confirm if this is something else, or is still working on being resolved.

@p.kellley - good to hear! In terms of why - I'd need to verify with the teams. Off hand, unsure, but I do know they were able to rapidly push out a fix.

Thanks,

It shows up, but does not actually copy. We have never had this problem in
the past. It is happening on the chromebooks and my desktop. When I try
to paste it, there is nothing to paste.

The best way to share link from Fusion on browser is to ask your students to open Fusion Team (at top right of the data panel), and use Share from that location. The reason I suggest this is because we enabled a mechanism that opens browser on the client as opposed to opening the browser on the PC that's streaming.
