How to project (or mirror?) a sketch to another plane/axis?

Hi!

I have a very basic question which I'm not even sure how to phrase. Please bear with me 🙂

How do I project or mirror a sketch onto a new place on another axis?

I'm creating a cabinet and my structure was drawn on XY plane. Now I'm trying to make my dadoes for some sliding doors on the XZ plane, but instead of manually positioning my cuts I'd like to use the original sketch projected in that plane. Is that possible?

Thanks!

Hi
Thanks for reaching out to us on the forums!

I believe the best alternative is to use the CREATE - MIRROR
So you have the freedom to select the feature you want to apply in your building.
Try to take a test.

I hope I am understanding your question correctly.  I created a screencast outlining my method of duplicating a sketch from one plane to another.  The main requirement of this process is that the sketches are on the exact same coordinates but on different planes.  The command "Redefine Sketch Plane" can be used to move an original sketch to another plane and taking any modeled feature, using that sketch, with it.
