I've been using the Educational license for years, but for the last couple of years I've been paying for a subscription just because I want to support AutoDesk and find Fusion valuable.
I've tried a couple times to switch my running Fusion over, but it never does. Reinstalling just gets me back with the education license.
Now I need support, because Fusion is crashing so often I can't get work done, so I want to switch over.
What's the recipe for doing that?
Is it true that I'll lose all my historical designs if I do this?

Thanks for posting! To do this, you'll need the account management team to make some changes to the licenses in your account. We've created case #14708839 with that team and you should be hearing from them shortly, either on this forum thread or via direct email to the email address associated with your forum account.
Please feel free to let us know if you have any questions - we are happy to assist.
Autodesk did some magic on my account, and the educational license tag disappeared.
I can still access my old designs.
Excellent!
Hi @Antony.Roy,
Can you start a chat via here and ask them to create a case or remove your educational licensing so that your Fusion commercial licensing will work. This team has the tools to perform this.
Thanks,
I can not activate my purchased license. The educational license is still active.
In some threads i read that all data is linked to my excisting account but elseware you can read that the educational account can not be used for a commercial account.
same problem here. thanks for this thread. the communication I received says 24-48 hours to resolve. I guess now I wait.

Did you try the chat in the post above marked as the solution?
