Fusion 360 Data Panel not downloading Tutorial files

I was wondering if someone has come across this issue and could help me:

In the Data Panel, the - Workshop and Events Project does not show the - Onboarding Path folder.    This is the folder where the Getting Started with Fusion Tutorials reside.

I have no access to any of the tutorial files that should be in the  Workshop and Events Project ... at this link  https://www.autodesk.com/products/fusion-360/get-started

I was wondering if there is a *.zip file for these Tutorials (files) or if someone can help me getting them to sync with the Data Panel under the Workshop and Events Project - Onboarding Path - ....

As I said,  I have no access to the files that reside in this link http://f360ap.autodesk.com/courses/mechanical-assemblies-fundamentals/lessons/lesson-1-create-compon... (or any other files in https://www.autodesk.com/products/fusion-360/get-started.

If anyone can help me get access to these files I will appreciate it.

Thanks.

Hi @Anonymous,

I think there is a mistake in the wording of that course you are trying to use. I do not have an Onboarding folder, but it is called the Adoption folder. It seems to contain the data you are looking for:

If you browse to these folders - do you see any data within them, or they are blank too? Can you provide a screenshot of what you are seeing?

Also, can you please navigate to the Help menu in Fusion 360 and go ahead and collect your diagnostic log files and post them in a reply here? These should give me a better idea as to why they are not syncing. At this time, I do not believe a .zip file of these tutorials exist, but I will ask around.

Thanks,

@Isaac.Krajmalnik - Thank you so much for reaching out.  I'll be sure to update those written paths right away.  As @James.Youmatz mentioned, the data is located under "Adoption Path" and inside there you should find the Mechanical Assemblies Folder.

Expect an update in a few minutes.

Now that you have access, I would love your honest feedback on the Getting Started Content and experience, either here or Jamie.Scherer@autodesk.com

Thanks!
Jamie

Hi @James.Youmatz

Thanks for your reply.

The problem was that the "Adoption Path" older did not appear in Workshop and Events Project.  I assume @Jamie.Scherer fixed it because it already appears in my file structure.

Again,

Thanks for your help.

Hi @Jamie.Scherer,

Thanks for your help and update.

When I wrote the post I forgot to mention the "Adoption Path" folder missing from the Project. My mistake...it was late at night Smiley Wink and I was tired after working for hours on Simulations.

"Adoption Path" now appears under the "W&E" Project.  Thanks for updating it!.  I will make sure to give you my honest feedback once I go through the tutorials.  Another question, I've been doing some advanced "Non linear" and "Event" Simulations and I've ran into some problems.  Can I contact you directly with these issues or should I post them in the Forum?

Thanks!

Isaac
