Exporting PCB to fusion 360 via Eagle Sync

 Hi,

When I have, lets say "square" PCB and I exporting it to Fusion 360 via Eagle Sync I am getting correct representation of PCB like on the picture below.

Screen Shot 2018-04-22 at 23.01.59.png

But, when I am changing to the shape I required like thisScreen Shot 2018-04-22 at 23.05.32.png

I am getting storage representation where copper layer goes outside of the boards border. Screen Shot 2018-04-22 at 23.07.22.png

I do not know is it a bug or something, I tried to create the board in Fusion it self first and then Sync from Eagle and bare Sync from Eagle with generating a new drawing automatically. The results are the same.

Is there any solution or fix?

Thanks

It is been a while...

I do not know if this will help, I am using Mac OS versions for both Eagle and Fusion 360.

Hi @ArttuTuomi,

I apologize for my delay in replying to you - I was out of office last week.

As I created a simple board and tested with EAGLE on my end, I was able to recreate this issue.  I've logged a bug (internal ID: FUS-39942) with our development team to investigate this issue.

I will keep this thread updated once I have more information to share about this.  Again thank you for your patience.

Thanks.

It is fine, @saito.kh!

I found a way around with using just "Line" tool in Eagle, with a "Curve" property set to 0 for those lines. It works fine if the PCB is a circle made with "Circle" tool. The rule is just to avoid "Arc" tool, it is (I think) creating this problem.

You can submit this too.

Hi @ArttuTuomi,

Thank you for the update!

I will report it to the development team as well.  I apologize for any inconveniences this may cause you - we appreciate you bringing this to our attention!

I also found that it works once a circle made in Fusion was pulled and pushed by Eagle.  Then I would be able to edit the shape of PCB.

Thanks.
