3D print sizing

Hello,

I have been using Fusion 360 for many months.  To 3D print I have simply used the 3D print in the drop down FILE tab.

I then send the print to Shapeway

All was fine.  I work in imperial inches and my STL would be uploaded to Shapeway as 1mm to 1 inch.  I would then scale on Shapeway.

But in the past 2 days something has changed in my Fusion environment and the STL file landing at Shapeways are much bigger....so big that they cannot be printed.

Do you think that I have inadvertetly changed something in my Fusion 360 configuration?

Many thanks in advance.

I don't know why it worked before and now it doesn't but before you send the model, change the active units in the Browser from inches to mm and then send, that should straighten it out for you. If you don't want the units to stay in mm, then close the model without saving.

I've used Shapeways for years to do occasional 3D printing.  It has always worked as long as the Fusion units are set, and you choose the corresponding units in the Shapeways upload page (I've only ever tested in and mm, Shapeways does not support cm, and I have no idea why they support meters), it always works.  I just tested an inch and mm model, and those still seem to work OK:
