Hi,
Just come back from OTx - so thought I'd start having another look at Fusion in the Browser and its potential for cloud use in schools with current adopted curriculum.
The main projects that are being utilised currently are the Desk top Lamp project - the F1 in schools Helmet and the F1 in schools (car design project.
I thought i would start with the Desk lamp project - One thing I notice straight away is that in the curriculum the main profile of the design is sketched from an image imported into the canvas (this is also the same in the F1 helmet design) - Does the current version have the ability to import an image and calibrate it to a size? As I couldn't locate it.
Another thing I noticed that the move command only allows the solid body to be moved along the axis, there is no rotational manipulator - I saw the 'choose axis' dialogue in the pop up menu but once you select an axis there is no rotation available - again is this something i am missing, or is it something that is on its way.
The rest of the sketching of the design seemed fine and was easy to replicate
I will post more as i progress through the curriculums
regards
Steve

Hi Steve,
"...Does the current version have the ability to import an image and calibrate it to a size?"
No we don;t have the ability to support images of any kind, however, this is on our roadmap
"...there is no rotational manipulator"
We have some work to do to support this, so it has been removed for now. It might not make the first version, but is a priority. I will log an issue for the "popup menu"
Thanks very much for taking the time to write up the feedback, it is much appreciated.
