wincnc plasma issues

Much like this thread where Ray got me through the multiple command issue on my router... my plasma table is kicking back a multiple command error. https://forums.autodesk.com/t5/computer-aided-machining-cam/multiple-command-fusion360-wincnc/m-p/67...

 

Can anyone help me through this? Thanks in advance!

If I manually remove the G41 and G40 compensation it runs no problem but then I have to manually compensate all my cuts.... Thoughts anyone?

What happens if you remove the G1 on the line with G41? Since there's a G1 before that (in this instance) perhaps it's a conflict, although those codes should be in different modal groups.

So I have narrowed it down to this... If the compensation is set to "In control" I am getting the error but if I set it to "In computer" all is fine. I also tried exactly what you suggested. It is how I knew we had a compensation issue. I dropped the G41 down a line and that got an extra line to run. The I tried to remove the G41 and G40 completely and it ran fine. Now that the machine runs the trick will be figuring out how to plasma cut well...

Maybe you can help me with one extra thing. The question is what is "Nozzle Clearance Diameter" seen below. Kerf width makes sense to me but I cant figure out what/how nozzel clearance diameter aids in the creation of pathing and gcode.

Well the kerf compensation sounds like it might be a machine control issue, so you may have to look into exactly how your machine applies it (if at all).

 

With regards to the nozzle clearance diamater, I haven't a clue. Honestly I haven't even played with the "sheet metal" style cutting toolpaths at all, but I may do so now just to see what happens.

I have the same question Nozzle Clearance Diameter. Any updates?

Unfortunately no. I have just assumed it meant the diameter of the nozzle opening.
