Tailstock Representation in Turning Operation

I am trying to turn a relatively long and thin bar (6 x 1) on our Nakamura Slant JR (Fanuc 0T-C).

It became pretty evident early on that we will need to enlist the tailstock to help support the bar stock. I want to be able to represent the tailstock in my machining simulations so I can see when there is an interference. I expect there to be an interference since the end of the bar is supposed to be rounded and chamfered. How would you accomplish machining this? If there is an interference on the end, I was thinking about just machining the very end and then pulling the bar out to turn the side.
