Hi all,

I literally did nothing, a week ago all was perfect. Today I am trying to post process tool path and got an error

NC code failed to post

The following NC code failed to post:

always with such messages

Simulation is OK.

The model

It creates an empty nc file. I run fusion as an administrator. Tried to save it on a desktop and in my documents folders.

Thanks in advance

When you click on "View Error Logs", what does it give you for a message?

Can you share your Fusion file, simple as it may be?

Hello,

The red one above "Failed to open output or log files for the following NC Program(s):

Please share your file here, if you could.

File > Export > Save to local folder, return to thread and attach the .f3d file in your reply

The issue reproduces for each file I have, so I created a dummy file with just a cube and face operation.

Not a problem to export for sure.

Can you share one with your Machine Configuration in it? I'm not having any issues posting out the file you shared:

Thanks for checking,

It is a small CNC router, not an actual "machine". I've created this profile some time ago, only to specify the dimensions and speeds.

Also, I always used GRBL from the fusion library. I literally did nothing since last week. Might be there were some updates, don't know

That file shows a new error

I think the root cause is somewhere here:

At the 1:48 mark, you click "Use anyway". Please click on "Copy to My Posts" (once you've defined where that location is). Then, select the post from there, please

Not trying to hijack this thread, but I am having the exact same issue with GRBL post. My failure in the post says:

"Error: The post configuration (.cps) requires revision 45917 or later of the post processor engine which has revision 45911.

You must either update your CAM package to the latest version to run this post configuration
or download an older version of the post configuration from https://cam.autodesk.com/hsmposts.
Failed while processing global script."

This may be the same issue youre having Rkeyqq

@bw299105 this is most likely telling you that you need to update Fusion. What version are you on? (current is 2.0.15509)

Thanks, and youre right. I was under the impression that Fusion would auto-update so I didnt consider that. when I restarted fusion a few times it finally updated on its own and now the post processor is working as it should. Thanks again!
