Hi @arlimbad222,

Can you please share your file?
Without seeing it, it is hard to help you with your problem or investigate for Autodesk what is going wrong.
Within Fusion 360, choose File > Export and save it on your desktop.
After that upload it to this topic so that one of us can take a look at it.

If my post answers your question Please use Accept as Solution & Kudos This helps everyone find answers more quickly!

Met vriendelijke groet | Kind regards | Mit freundlichem Gruß

Have you got the STL selected as the model in the setup?

We are starting to track this bug as more issues are popping up. No news at this time, I'll circle back when I have more to offer

-EDIT- I've opened up CAM-28011 to track this issue

First time trying to machine an STL in Fusion.
Having an issue with the toolpath generation AWAY from the model.... See the toolpath in the lower-left corner....
Tried pretty much anything but it seems to think my model is ways off.  This does not happen when machining parts designed in Fusion.

@zero_divide,

As Seth has said, we are investing the issue and working on a fix.

The issue seems to be when you import and move the mesh. The toolpaths are going to the import location. Not the new location.

So there are 2 work around you can try.

1 import the mesh and don't move it.

2 if you have to move it then try this.
You have your main document lets call this "main doc" you want the mesh in here to machine.

Now make a new document, insert the mesh into here and DO NOT MOVE IT, just import. Save this as "Mesh1"

Now insert as a derive "Mesh1" into "Main doc"

You should now be able to move the mesh around to your hearts content and still reference it correctly in the MFG environment.

We will of course try to get a fix out but this may at least keep you working

Here's a fairly quick\easy workaround using the info from @Richard.stubley  Just export the mesh in it's moved position then delete from the document. Then just reimport the mesh that will now be in the moved position.

Screencast below using model @arlimbad222  attached.

First thing first sorry for late response .

I find this solution last night and finally start machining this coin so I am very tired last night.I do the same thing as shown in video and it's working for me . But I think it's temporary solution.

Thanks all for help and give a time for this issue.

I attached some beautiful picture of product .
