Steep and Shallow height constrains

Hello,

We 're having problems  with constraining the Steep and Shallow toolpaths. If in the "heights tap" the Top Height is for example set on -10mm below the top of the model, it's still generating a toolpath on the top of the model. only when working with boundaries (tool within) will contain the toolpath. but this is not always a solution.

Hi p.ankersmit,

this sounds like a bug the dev team is currently working on getting a fix for. Unfortunately I'm not aware of any work arounds for this.

We're using the :ballot_box_with_check: Avoid/Touch Surfaces option to resolve this, that usually works. But it's not ideal and should not be necessary for an advanced (and additionally paid for) option.

That's why the team is working on a fix for it.
