Problem with turning g-code

Hello,

I just add a small wood lathe on my 3 axis machine and try to make somes pieces to experiment.

I set my origin like you can see here...

1.jpg

Then set the parameter

2.jpg

Got a correct preview

3.jpg

So now i got some g-code I don't understand...

4.jpg

First I choose this really simple part just to explain what I got and changing the post processor don't seem

to change this...

Ok

Left side of the cone is 1 inch diameter

Right side is 0.5 inch

Origin is suppose to be right center of the part(as I see in the 1 picture)

If so the g-code is suppose to send the X from .5 to .25 with .1 increment as i ask to

but I got the code I just post....

Someone can explain me why I got this g-code and how I can use it?

Thank,

J-P

First off, does your 3 axis machine accept diameter values, as almost all the lathe post processors output code in that manner.

Second, could you share your file so we have a better grasp on your model, settings, tool definition?
File > Export > Save to local folder, return to thread and attach the .f3d file in your reply

OK, (diameter Value) That make sense to me now... But I would like to control my small lathe

with Mach3 or GRBL in part origin...So Is there a way to get a g-code with (RADIUS VALUE)?

Thank you Seth,
