How to export layer by layer DXF file for machining

Hi,,

 

Can anyone guide me how to export dxf file layer by layer from 3d design for machining operation.

Hello,

 

Thanks for posting. There are several ways you can achieve this... What machine are you running? Could you not use the CAM toolpaths to create the code needed for the machine?

 

If your machine takes DXF files, you can export your toolpaths using the DXF post. Another alternative would be to create several planes with a sketch containing the cut edges, you could then export these sketches in a DXF format

@GeorgeRoberts, hello, our machine is accurate 366, it uses CAM 350 software for pcb designing, which supports Gerber file and DXF file. In pcb operation I need to perform layer wise operation. So how should I do that using dxf, suppose I want to cut Top layer holes 1mm depth, how should i setup in dxf.. ? not getting any YouTube tutorials even. So please help me out.
