Fanuc A-Axis Post Processor Problem

Hi everyone,

 

I created a toolpath for a part which requires 4-axis machining. I use a vertical milling center with divisor. I have added the Fusion 360 file for reference. However when I post-process the toolpath with Fanuc A-Axis post processor I get the "056  NO END POINT & ANGLE IN CHF/CNR" error in my vertical milling center. I have tried standard Fanuc post-processor as well but that time I got "Improper G-Code" error. I don't know how to solve this problem since it's all about NC codes. Any help will be appreciated. Thanks in advance.

 

 

 

 

Ps: I tried to add nc code files but system did not allow me to attach them. You can see sample codes below for reference.

Does the alarm trigger right out of the gate, or does it happen further in the program?

 

One thing I'd change is your origin in your Setup. For 4th axis work, you really should be defining it at the center of rotation, unless you have a machine with dynamic work offset control

It triggers the alarm shortly after it made the first move of toolpath at
Z-axis. So I can say that it's right out of the gate, since it doesn't make
any movement other than the initial few mm descend. Fanuc controller says
that there is insufficient information in NC codes, therefore it cannot run
the program. Can you spot some missing values in NC code?

Try the attached code, it may need the % sign adding at the beginning and end as the PP has been slightly modified for a different control system although it is Fanuc based.

 

Anyway, worth a try.

Thanks for the post. I will try as soon as possible. Is it possible for you to attach F360 file and give more information about which post processor you used ? Thanks in advance.

I would start here and set the WCS and move it to the dead center of the part unless the machine has the fancy offset capability, or the post has been changed to allow it.
