2d Contour not selecting

Hi Team,

I try to select a 2d contour but it will not select it. I have other contours I can select within the same design but there is one I can not select and I don't know why. I have a video attached that shows that I can select other designs but the Munchie I can not select the whole lot. Please any suggestions.

Hi @Anonymous,

It might be a problematic open contour that is produced from the extrusion of that particular font that generates this issue. Could you please post the file so we can take a look at it?

@Anonymous I have attached the file. I do that all the time and never hat any problems with that. I also try to enter the svg file again and do the same thing but still not working. The svg file is attached as well.

Thanks for the files. I took a quick look and I could reproduce the problem that you've seen. I could not find anything distinctly wrong with the SVG or the extrusion.
Hence, I've opened ticket CAM-23998 for further investigation.

Sometimes the selection presents too many options. That typically solves as an odd closed section, but this time it decides it wants a single segment. That bit is curious...

I have created a different svg with the same writing and font and it worked perfectly. Have a look at the video. Even if the problem is solved it would be interesting why it don't work with the first svg file.
