Client ID - Hints

For the access with API wie can create a Client ID and clientSecret. With this we can identify, if we are allowed to have access to the Tenant.

The clientID has to put in the Security from the Tenant. However, we have no note field for the clientID. At the moment, the list is getting longer and longer.
We don't know, if the clientID is used anymore. Who is the owner? When was it used the last time?
If the list contains no longer used clientID, that is a potential risk.
We need a field for adding information.

At the moment, we can delete all clientID and then we have to wait, when and who screams, because it is no longer working.

However, this is not a sensible practice and will create extra work and interruptions on the customers side.

Yes Yes Yes. This is definietly required. This is a big security risk that can be easily resolved by Autodesk.

 

Give another column in this table, to add a comment.

 

Ideally, give a proper table with columns like CreatedBy, LastModified By/Date, enabled/disabled etc, so we can properly track the clientIds being added. This is "PLM" after all.

 

This single column table is simply not good enough to safely manage access to a tenant.
