Rename features / planes / scripts etc. during creation

Enter a label field to all dialogs so that the feature could be named during the creation project. This could make the history and the browser entries much more readable and eliminates a 2nd rename action performed by the user.

Wouldn't it be easier if "on creation" the item is automatically selected for "rename", so that one can either "type name and <ENTER>" for a custom name, or just "<ENTER>" (or click anywhere else) to keep the default name?

@Anonymous: That would still inlcude two dialogs. Autodesk could easily default the label in the initial dialog. So people can just stick to the current behavior or can add value to their features.

I understood your point with your first comment. But IMHO the interaction
is splited what is neither needed nor a common UI pattern.

I  also think that it'd be great to be able to give a new feature a name at the same time I'm creating it.

It would take an extra text input field, populated with the default name that Fusion uses now. I can then change it or just ignore it and accept the default.

This would encourage what is IMHO a good practice, ie. documenting your designe as you go. For now, it takes extra effort and a break in the work flow to do this.
