I am often in the situation of modeling complex pockets or bodies with respect to the desired target volume. I do this with boundary fills, then opening the properties of the fill-body to check the volume. Obviously for easy bodies like a cube you could just calculate the necessary square and height, but if you have a complex base shape, with fillet edges it becomes very complex.
My current workflow is: create pocket, create boundary fill, open properties of boundary fill, check volume of boundary fill, open parameters, change values, open properties of boundary fill again, check volume change, go back to parameters, adjust again, check, adjust, check, adjust, check, adjust, and so forth...
If it would be able to keep the properties and the parameters pane open at the same time, this would make it SO much easier and quicker to adjust parameters with respect to volumes or masses.
Thanks for consideration!
