Export UV mapping to external renderer.

Having the ability to make a uv unwrapping within Fusion 360 would solve many problems!!! 

It would be useful for the rendering engine of Fusion 360 would also be useful for export to other rendering engines.

UV mapping is very useful in packaging design and in the case of very complex texture

Have the ability to manage the uv map allows you to create texture consistent with the 3D model.

Especially in packaging design, with the UV map you can apply the texture as it is produced in real life ... track die!

Thank you for your idea, this is getting archived due to lack of votes. There has been a large amount of improvements to our rendering capabilities inside of Fusion since this post.  Hope that some of them help your experience.

The UX team is going to investigate the feasablity of this request.  Release date is TBD.

It looks that this enhancement is still missing.

I agree with Faso, that there are a lot of industries which need a perfect association between the 2D representation of a 3D surface.
And unwrapping a 3D mesh in order to place a 2D pattern over correct exportable UV space is still mandatory.

Let's keep that feature on the top of the "to do list".
