After all this time I'm still pulling my hair out on this one...
Could you please enable us to add something like a Coordinate System aligned to (even positioned on) the geometry of individual components so that we can use it as orientation reference when creating a drawing view??

This is really fundamental to drawing functionality. I generally model mechanisms and I'm constantly pulling components into different positions as I assess its working. This of course keeps buggering up my drawing orientations, even when using the Named Views or Joint Origins work-arounds. It's a foundational problem.
I've previously noted this issue in slightly more detail, but it generally does not show up on searches, so maybe my title was poorly chosen.
